"What is still calm can easily be grasped
What has not yet emerged can easily be considered
What is still fragile can easily be broken
What is still small can easily be scattered.
One must work on what is not yet there.
One must put in order what is not yet confused. "
≈ Lao Tzu
"Most important is not the economic crisis,
but rather the internal communication crisis in each individual.
It is not the warming up of the planet that has the biggest consequences,
but more importantly the chilling of the human heart"

" My first and my last message to all is that yoga is not a religion, but it is a science – it is a science of the mind.
Yoga is necessary if you wish to bring about a complete change in the personality and a reorientation in your way of life for the sake of the new generation.
People should not regard yoga as mere physical exercise, but as a culture and way of life "
≈ Sw. Satyananda
" Believe in yourself. Know that you have the strength, the ability, the courage and the will to transform yourself. The best way to reach this point is through silence, not through logic or intellect, or questions and discussion. So many books have been written, yet still people continue to ask questions. The answers have been given in all the scriptures and by different masters and saints, yet still we ask for the reason, the why, when and how. We ask the same questions over and over again, even though we have been given the answers. Learn in silence about the mysteries of life by understanding and believing that you have the strength, the courage and the ability. You can definitely make a barren piece of ground into a flowering garden. The method you can chose yourself. If water is not available nearby, you will have to dig a well or a channel from a nearby river. You know that you have to water the garden, so you will have to find your own method. You will have to find the means to procure the right seeds and protect them by providing whatever is necessary for their growth. It becomes easy and simple if you believe in yourself and have the will and sincerity. It is no use sitting down with your head in your hands, thinking, "God, what shall I do with my patch of land ? It is full of rocks and there is no water nearby". That fatalistic attitude is the road to hell. That is the biggest obstacle one has to overcome. The attitude of faith is the stairway to heaven. So never be fatalist. Always have faith in yourself. "
≈ Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati, Former President of the Bihar School of Yoga, India.
" That which is looking is what you are looking for. "

" The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind a faithful servant. We have created a society that honours the servant and has forgotten the gift. "

"Yoga is an art, a method of wrestling with your own mind; it is a process by which you free your mind from limitations, and in this final state of liberation you gain more knowledge, light, peace, tranquility, understanding, wisdom and infinite joy."
≈ Swami Satyananda
